The Millennium Conference and Function Centre
The Millennium Hall is available for conferences, presentations and lectures on weekdays from 9.00 am to 5.30 p.m. It can also be booked for short lunch - time meetings between 12.00 noon and 2.30 p.m. and for evening functions. Hiring charges are set very competitively in relation to other venues in Sheffield.

FEATURES: A Large, Modern, Hexa-gonal Hall, measuring approximately 13 metres by 15 metres (42 ft by 50 ft) with a hardwood parquet floor, well lit from above through a lantern roof and suspended lumina lighting. The venue is within easy access of Sheffield City centre.

  • Flexible room layout;
  • Climate control with a combination of thermostatic heating and modern silent air conditioning units;
  • Raised rostrum platform for speakers;
  • Blackout facility for OHP presentations, slides, etc.;
  • Overhead projector, large moveable screen, flip chart, radio microphones, stationery, etc. if required;
  • Recently refurbished cloakroom facilities;
  • Oval and round tables within the hall. Lightweight folding tables also available;
  • Comfortable, upholstered seating for one hundred participants. Forty chairs with integral lecture tablets if required;
  • Adjacent comfortable coffee room for relaxation, preparation of presentations etc.;
  • Large kitchen and pantry room. Catering can be offered by arrangement (morning coffee, buffet lunch, afternoon tea) as well as a dedicated bar for the exclusive use of conference members;
  • Other rooms within the building suitable for small group work as part of a large Conference or Symposium;
  • The Millennium Hall fully conforms to the current legislation with respect to Fire Prevention, Environmental Health and Safety, also Third Party Liability.
